The book “Museum of Landscape, Narratives and Experiences of Place” (2019), edited by ICNOVA researcher and professor at the School of Social Communication / Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, Maria João Centeno, brings together manuscripts with experiences and reflections, both by the research team and invited participants from the final conference of the project on April 11 2019 that discussed and reflected on landscape issues.
The volume comprises part of the project “Landscape Museum – Narratives and Experience of Place: Bases for a Landscape Museum” (LISBOA-01-0145-FEDER-023382) coordinated by João Abreu (ESCS-IPL) and is available on the Landscape Museum website, a digital mediation platform conceived and carried out as part of the research project.
In the words of the author:
“Landscape results from a dynamic process, of a permanent interaction between humankind and nature, between society and its territory. We, thereby, aim to present a new space, one occupied by this volume and which can only be fully experienced when shared and discussed. This is the challenge we have set for you!” Download the book for free at
