The 2nd Social Media in Practice Excellence Awards are being held next year alongside the 6th European Conference on Social Media hosted by the University of Brighton, UK on the 13-14 June 2019.
This competition is looking for innovative and exciting uses of social media across all domains and is looking for examples from education, marketing, healthcare, community development, charities, government and any other area which has put social media platforms to a new use. The emphasis of the case histories needs to be on effective social media applications and this can be in the private or in the public sectors, including NGOs, schools and universities, etc.
If you are or if you have been involved in this field of study we invite you to participate in this competition to showcase innovative social media applications in business and the public sector. We are keen to see how academe, public sector and business have worked together to identify, develop and implement innovative social media applications and to this end we are looking for joint submissions with both academic and practitioner contributors.
