The importance of family communication and digital socialization for the ways in which children and young people deal with troublesome situations on the internet is the theme of the paper “Coping with problematic online situations: the role of the family climate in children strategies”, presented by Cristina Ponte in co-authorship with Susana Batista of the EU Kids Online Portugal team at the International Conference on Cyberspace. which will take place in Brno, Czech Republic from 29 to 30 November.
