ICNOVA and DCC host SOPCOM 2021

NOVA FCSH’s Department of Communication Sciences (DCC) and NOVA’s Communication Institute (ICNOVA) recently submitted their candidacy to SOPCOM (Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences) for the organization of the 2021 Congress and were announced as winners today, at the Closing Session of the XI SOPCOM, in Funchal.

The event, which is the most important at the national level in the area of Communication Sciences, will take place at NOVA’s Campolide Campus, from September 8 to 10, 2021, under the theme “Communication & Disruption: cultural, societal and technological challenges”.

The Congress Scientific Committee will be chaired by Cristina Ponte and the Organizing Committee by Ivone Ferreira, both DCC professors and ICNOVA researchers.
