June 23 and 24 | Almada Negreiros College | Free entry

The International Conference on Disinformation and Fact-Checking marks the end of an Erasmus+ project, coordinated by Universidade Nova de Lisboa/ICNOVA, which involved eight European universities in the creation of a fully open access e-learning curriculum in the areas of disinformation and data verification. It features interventions by Miguel Poiares Maduro, President of the Executive Board of the European Observatory of Digital Media (EDMO), Divina Frau-Meigs, vice-president of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR), and Mark Leiser, Professor of Law and Digital Technologies at Leiden University.

On the 24th, Paulo Pena, journalist and co-founder of the international consortium Investigate Europe, will give a masterclass on disinformation in journalism, which admission is also free, but subject to prior registration (maximum 15 participants).
