A coleção de livros do ICNOVA anuncia a mais nova publicação do seu selo editorial, o livro “Sound Journalism: From Radio to Audio” editado por Luís Bonixe, investigador integrado do instituto.

The transformations in the media system driven by digitalization and the Internet have paved the way for the diversification of sound expression forms in journalism, no longer exclusive to radio.Podcasting, the incorporation of audio in online news articles, and live streaming are some of the new forms that sound journalism has adopted over the past two decades. These innovations present new challenges in narratives, professional routines, and even professional ethics. The book “Sound Journalism — From Radio to Audio” aims to contribute to this discussion by fostering a debate around new professional practices in sound-based journalism.
